Full Description

  • Victoria Albert Daycare Inc. is currently seeking a Circle of Security passionate educator to work split shifts in our School Age Program.  
  • We are licensed for 45 school age children and 20 preschool children.
  • We are located on a bus route, however, we do not have places to park (there may be parking available in paid lots); Please don't hold this against us as we have a lot to offer our educators and unfortunately parking is not as available as we'd like 
  • We are a play-based program and use the Circle of Security principles to guide our days.
  • Position begins ASAP; it may become a permanent position for the right candidate 
  • Wage is $16.98/hour for CCAs that do not have the 40 hour course
  • Wage is $19.97 for CCAs that have the 40 hour course

The Ideal Candidate Is

  • Trained in Circle of Security
  • Has completed, or willing to complete Accessibility Training
  • Has completed, or willing to complete Commit to Kids Training
  • Current First Aid/CPR C 
  • CCA Classification from Manitoba 
  • Cleared Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector search (within the past 3 months)
  • Cleared Child Abuse Registry Check (within the past 3 months)
  • Experience in a School Age Program is considered an asset
  • Willingness to work in our Preschool Program 
  • Is available Monday-Friday for any and all split shifts between the hours of 6:45-5:45pm (example of a split shift is 7:00-9:00, 12-1, 2:30-5:30-but not limited to). Straight shifts on school in-services and school breaks.

    ****Please note that this is a casual position that has a variety of hours both scheduled and last minute. It is not a full time position and does not have a guaranteed amount of hours. Only apply if you can work as a casual educator****
