Roblin Park Children’s Programs – Winnipeg, MB

Full-Time Permanent | $32.66/hour | 80 Hours Bi-Weekly

Roblin Park Children’s Programs is seeking a confident and experienced ECE III to join our leadership team as Assistant Director.
 

We are looking for an organized, solution-focused leader who communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in strengthening a high-quality early learning environment.

 

As our Assistant Director, you will work in partnership with the Executive Director to actively shape our centre’s culture, uplift educators, and create a workplace where children, families, and staff truly thrive. This is a role for someone who wants to lead with purpose and be part of a team that feels like home.

The Ideal Candidate Is

 

Our ideal candidate is a strong administrator and experienced leader who can support daily operations and guide teams with confidence. You will be responsible for overseeing the centre in the absence of the Executive Director while fostering a respectful, collaborative, and accountable workplace. We are looking for someone who makes thoughtful decisions, leads with empathy, and values meaningful connections.

 

Requirements

  • ECE III classification recognized in Manitoba (required)
  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or upper management role
  • Experience with Fastoche, Payworks, and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong administrative background including payroll, billing, staff files, licensing compliance, and scheduling
  • Strong knowledge of child development, inclusion, diversity, and behaviour guidance
  • Ability to mentor and guide staff, lead team meetings, and support professional growth
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge of the Manitoba ELCC Framework
     

Compensation & Benefits

  • $32.66–$34.16/hour
  • 4% vacation accrual after the first year plus 6 paid closure days annually
  • 12 wellness days and 2 personal days per year
