Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the development and implementation of engaging programming for preschool children.

- Supervise, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to childcare staff.

- Maintain accurate, confidential children's files and URIS plan.

-Keep parents informed of program expectations, activities, and their child's progress.

- Oversee facility reports, ISP Grants, monthly expenses, and enrollment processes.

- Collaborate with external organizations to support families.

- Participate in hands-on childcare duties as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

- ECE II or III Certification required.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in early childhood education.

- Experience mentoring childcare staff; prior leadership roles are an asset.

- Knowledge of Manitoba Early Learning and Childcare regulations, emergent curriculum, and child development practices.

- Strong administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in English required; additional languages are an asset.

- Must be a permanent resident of Canada.
