Splash Early Learning Centre, nestled in the heart of Osborne Village, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ECE II to join our dynamic team. For 40 years, we've been a cornerstone of the childcare community, and our Pulford Street location, opened in March 2022, embodies our commitment to innovative, child-led, and nature-based learning.

We are licensed for 64 preschool children, 28 infants, and 35 school-age children in our Urban Learning Centre. We believe in fostering a nurturing environment where children explore, learn, and grow through diverse experiences, including our popular Forest School and community gardening initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate Is

 an ECE II, willing to:

  • Implement and deliver a high-quality, child-led, and nature-based curriculum.
  • Build strong, nurturing relationships with children and families.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Participate in monthly newsletters and staff meetings.
  • Embrace outdoor learning in all weather conditions.

Qualifications:

  • ECE II certification and classification in Manitoba.
  • Current First Aid Level C & AED certification.
  • Clear criminal background and child abuse registry checks (vulnerable sector).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an ECE II (preferred).
  • Commit 2 Kids
  • Strong work ethic, accountability, and customer service skills.
  • Passion for child development and outdoor learning.
  • Kind and caring demeanor.
  • Circle of security training or experience with play based or land based learning is an asset.
