South Winnipeg Kinderschule is looking for German-speaking enthusiastic and independent CCA or ECE to join our small Nursery School Centre in the River Heights neighbourhood in Winnipeg. We are a 20-space Nursery School and this is a part-time position, immediately until June. Shifts are from 8:30-11:30 M-F, 15 hrs per week excluding centre closures. We are small, local, and uniquely tied to our community.

Wage is based on experience as per the MCCA’s Market Competitive Salary Guideline Scale; $17.64 per hour.

Eligible candidates:

• Will ideally have the ability to speak in German.
• Must be completely reliable and able to work independently.
• Should become ECE Level I Classified.
• Are required to complete Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry upon hiring, as well as First Aid Certification level C.

Experience working in a child care setting is an asset. 

Job Duties include:

• Working with children and cleaning the centre on a daily basis. Director is the main key holder.
• Adherence to Best Practices Licensing Manual in day-to-day operations of the centre, including safety.
• Ensuring Confidentiality and security of personal information held at Kinderschule.
