The Ideal Candidate Is

 an experienced, dedicated Full-Time Supervisor to lead our school age program. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of early learning best practices, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to professional growth.

Will

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication.
  • Oversee day-to-day program operations, ensuring compliance with licensing standards and centre policies.
  • Use administrative and computer skills (Childcare Pro experience is an asset; training provided) to maintain accurate records and track children’s progress.
  • Organize and maintain  environments that encourage exploration, learning, and creativity.
  • Support and mentor educators to promote professional growth and team collaboration.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment at all times.
  • Guide positive behaviour and support emotional regulation strategies.
  • Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and special events

Qualifications

  • ECE II Certification from the Province of Manitoba (required).
  • Current First Aid & CPR (Level C) certification.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (within the last 3 months).
  • Clear Child Abuse Registry Check (within the last 3 months).
  • Previous experience in a school age program is an asset.
  • In-depth knowledge of child development and inclusive, age-appropriate practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Circle of Security training is an asset.

  • Lead daily program operations, ensuring compliance with licensing standards.
  • Mentor and support educators to deliver exceptional learning experiences.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
