Sunnyside Child Care Centre has an opportunity for a permanent, full-time ECE II to join their team in early December 2025 or January 2026.

The ECE must:

-have Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care classification.

-have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact positively with children, families, co-workers and other professionals and community members.

-have a solid knowledge of and be able to adhere to and enforce regulations in the Best Practices Licensing Manual for for Early Learning and Child Care.

-be energetic, creative, flexible, nurturing, and have a sense of humour.

-model maturity, self-motivation, dependability, involvement and professionalism.

-have strong observational skills and be able to plan activities which promote physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of preschool and schoolage children.

-be willing and able to coach and assist training new employees and students as part of a cooperative team.

-be available to work any shift (pd. for 7.5 hrs/day) between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm, Monday through Friday.
