Full Description
Applicants will possess their ECE II or III diploma as well as:
-valid First Aid/CPR training (can be offered)
-Clear Child Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Record checks in last three months
- 2 years-experience working in a childcare center
- be adaptable, creative, fun, energetic, positive, strength-based, and empathetic
- have strong communication skills, oral and written
- possess problem solving tools and ability to think "outside the box."
-willingness to learn and grow with each opportunity or challenge that is faced
- knowledge of Best Practices and MELCC Licensing guidelines
- Positive stress management tools
- Demonstrate a strong desire to advocate for and provide quality care for all children and families involved with the organization
- possess a strong work ethic and ability to follow policy and procedure
- be a strong team-player working together will all levels of professionals in the workplace
- ability and willingness to mentor and model appropriate ethics and behavior
- Want to share new ideas, innovations or positive practices with team members and management
The Ideal Candidate Is
Kinder Korner ELC is looking for ECE II or III's to join our amazing team.
We are a multi-site company that is looking to expand on our Kinder Korner team of professionals.
Our hours are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday.
We offer CSBT benefit program on a 50/50 split, Pension Plan with Industrial Alliance, 12 Paid sick days a year, Mental Health days, personal days, and professional development days.
As the program is expanding, we are able to offer opportunities for our employees to learn and grow into leadership positions.
