Full Description

  • Victoria Albert Daycare Inc. is currently seeking an CCA in Training or ECE 2 to work in our School Age Program located in downtown Winnipeg.
  • We are licensed for 45 school age children and 20 preschool children.
  • We are located on a bus route, however, do not have places to park (there may be parking available in paid lots); Please don't hold this against us as we have a lot to offer our educators and unfortunately parking is not as available as we'd like 
  • We are a play-based program and use the Circle of Security principles to guide our days.
  • This is a term position to cover a maternity leave and is scheduled to be from September 2, 2025-June 30, 2026.  This may be extended for the right candidate.

The Ideal Candidate Is

  • Trained in Circle of Security
  • Has completed, or willing to complete Accessibility Training
  • Has completed, or willing to complete Commit to Kids Training
  • Current First Aid/CPR C 
  • ECE 2 Classification from Manitoba (if not, please apply for it)
  • Cleared Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector search (within the past 3 months)
  • Cleared Child Abuse Registry Check (within the past 3 months)
  • Experience in a School Age Program is considered an asset
  • Willingness to work in our Preschool Program 
  • Can work straight and/or split shifts as program needs
  • Can work rotating shifts between the hours of 6:45am-5:45pm Monday thru Friday
