Working with a strong team including the program Supervisor, co-workers, Assistant Director, Circle of Security facilitator, specialists and families, the ECE II provides a safe, caring and educational environment for 32 preschool children aged 3 to 5 years old.

Full time with benefits, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. 

Schedules may vary, and candidates must be available to work all shifts within centre operating hours (7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday).

ECE II - $27.56+ (commensurate with experience)

Specific Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring and educational environment
• Plan and provide emergent, play-based curriculum
• Provide additional support within the program to help co-regulate children with additional support needs
• Observe and anticipate children’s triggers and offer tools to help regulate (e.g. deep breathing techniques, fidget gadgets, offering safe places, sensory exploration, etc.)
• May participate in daily bus runs/school pick-up/drop-off
• Other duties as assigned
