Full Description
We are currently seeking a warm, respectful, and collaborative Supervisor to join our leadership team at our 550 Harrow St. location.
As Supervisor, you will support the daily operations of the centre while nurturing a workplace culture rooted in trust, kindness, open communication, and professional accountability. You will work in close partnership with the Centre Director and our educators to ensure high-quality programming and a thriving early learning environment for all.
Main Responsibilities:
Program Operations & Leadership

Oversee daily program operations, including staffing, schedules, and routines
- Work closely with the Director and team to ensure smooth operations and compliance with licensing
- Model professionalism, emotional intelligence, and strong interpersonal skills
Staff Support & Team Building
- Build and model respectful, inclusive relationships with all team members
- Mentor staff through regular check-ins, coaching, and positive feedback
- Encourage growth with open communication, active listening, and development opportunities
- Support conflict resolution and promote healthy, open dialogue
- Create a workplace rooted in mutual respect, trust, and inclusion
Classroom Presence & Learning Culture
- Be actively present on the floor, modeling responsive care and joyful, reflective teaching
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for both children and educators
Leadership & Professionalism
- Leads with empathy and a coaching mindset
- Stays calm, confident, and solution-focused under pressure
- Comfortable in a fast-paced setting with professionalism and emotional maturity

- Tech-savvy and familiar with tools like Fastoche and Microsoft Office
- Understands child development, early learning best practices, and relevant legislation

The Ideal Candidate Is
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role in early learning
- Holds an ECE II or ECE III classification
- Certified in First Aid/CPR
- Experience with children ages 12 weeks to 12 years
- Strong in communication, documentation, and organization
- Available Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM with some flexibility
- Has a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
