- Flexible - Childcare is fast passed, your shift or lunch break might change to maintain ratios.
- Emotionally mature – Able to stay calm and thoughtful, especially under pressure.
- Willing to work in alignment with management – Works within the boundaries of policies and alongside management.
- Committed to children and inclusion – Confidently supporting all children including those with disabilities and diverse needs.
- Trained in child development – And has the ability to put that knowledge into practice.
- Clean and organized – Maintaining a tidy, safe classroom space is part of your daily standard.
- Committed to continued learning - Able and willing to continue to grow both personally and professionally by participating in PD
Required Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Education II classification from province of MB (ECE II - in training will be considered)
- Previous experience in a preschool room or licensed childcare setting is a strong asset
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
- Commit to Kids Certificate
- Up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Check
- Up-to-date Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry
- Circle of Security training is an asset
