Full Description
The Rady JCC Early Learning Centres is looking to hire an ECE II - Full Time Permanent position for our Preschool Program at our main location, The Kaufman Child Care Centre, at 123 Doncaster Street.
We are looking for an individual who is able to work as part of a friendly faculty of educators. Our preschool room requires an individual that provides children with opportunities for creativity by planning activities for outdoor and indoor play in a child-inspired program.
We are looking for an ECE II that is committed to Early Learning Education and their continuing education. This is a position with the following benefits:
- 7% Pension Plan matched by employer after three months

- 8 ½ hour shift with 1 hour paid lunch and half hour unpaid break

The Ideal Candidate Is
The ideal candidate should indicate in their resume how they meet the following requirements:
- Has a current Manitoba ECE II Certificate.
- Clear and current Child Abuse and Criminal Record Checks within the last three months.
- Current Emergency First Aid CPR-C
- Knowledge in Reggio Amelia Approach principles or is eager to learn
- Willingness to learn about the Jewish culture and traditions
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to work cooperatively with a team of educators
- Be nurturing and follows positive behaviour techniques
- Be familiar and understand ELCC’s Best Practices policies and procedures
