Victoria Albert Daycare Inc. is currently seeking an Experienced ECE 2 to fulfill a summer term position from June 30, 2025-August 29, 2025.
- Trained in Circle of Security
- Cleared Criminal Record Check, including vulnerable sector search received prior to your first shift and not older than 3 months.
- Cleared Child Abuse Registry Check received prior to your first shift and not older than 3 months.
- Commit to Kids training (2 certificates)
- Respect in Schools Certificate
- Accessibility Training (3 modules/certificates)
- Current First Aid/CPR C
- Food Handler's Certificate (considered an asset)

ECE 2 designation from ELCC Manitoba
Wage is: $21.30-$22.90 depending upon experience.
The Ideal Candidate Is
- Experienced in working with ages 3-12 years old
- Ability to work any shift between the hours of 6:45am-5:45pm Monday to Friday
- Strong leadership and supervision for children in a variety of developmental settings
- Ability to lead groups of 15 children (school age) confidently and with ease
- Ability to lead groups of 8 children (preschool) confidently and with ease
- Experience in organization and participating in field trips, off centre grounds, community walks
- Experience working in both large and small groups
- Actively participating in all summer programming from planning, to implementing, to transportation and flexibility if summer plans are altered
- Friendly, outgoing, and passionate about childcare
- Familiar with Circle of Security and practices it daily in all aspects of childcare
- Creative and open to new and exciting ideas

- Ability to work in either of our preschool or school age programs

- Familiar with technology (using Ipads, emails, taking pictures, etc)
- Positive guidance techniques
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Self-starter; can work independently with minimal direction when needed
