Full Description

Sunny Mountain Day Care Centre inc is currently seeking a full time permanent ECE to join the team. We are a multi-site organization that embraces play-based, outdoor experiences for the children. We have 5 locations that have children ages 6 months to 12 years old. We are in need of an ECE that is passionate and dedicate to the development of young children and want to help foster their early years.

We offer:

  • 12 personal days a year(used for sick days for you or family members/appointments/mental health days)
  • 1 hour paid lunch break-7hours on the floor
  • Vacation in the first year based on hours worked
  • rotating shifts for staff and some split shifts when needed

  • Salary ranges from $21.30 -$24.31 depending on education and experience 

The Ideal Candidate Is

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have an ECE certificate in the province of MB
  • Have experience working with children aged infants to school age
  • Current CPR/First aid certification(or willing to gain)
  • Current (within the last 3 months) criminal record and child abuse checks in MB
  • Positive and effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of process art and play based theory
  • Passion for outdoor learning for children
  • Inclusive and diverse mindset and understanding
