Full Description
Stars of Promise Daycare Inc. is a not-for-profit, government funded and licensed Child Care Centre. We manage a full preschool program for 64 children between the ages of 2 and 6 years.
We are looking to add more substitute educators to our program!
Our centre is open Monday to Friday, from 6:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
This position offers 0–40 hours per week, with a mix of pre-booked shifts and on-call opportunities as needed.
Being a substitute is a great way to gain experience in our program — sub positions can lead to term or even full-time opportunities for the right candidate!

Educational Background & Training
- Childcare assistant certificate
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Clear Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry checks or willingness to obtain.
- C3P Commit to Kids Child Abuse Prevention Training or willingness to obtain.
