Seven Oaks child Day Care Centre is looking for a Child Care Assistant for their School Age location.
The position would assist with the inclusion program and support an enhanced ratio environment. This is a part time position and the hours are from 7am to 8:30am and 3:30pm to 6pm.
From time to time there is opportunity to work additional hours in-between the spilt shift at the main location with preschool children.
This position would also include full time hours during winter break, spring break, and school in-service days. There is also an opportunity to work full time in the summer at the main location, this is negotiable.
The school age program is licensed for 30 children, and is located in a school. The CCA would be working alongside two other educators, and assist with activities and engage in play with the children, offering support to those who need some extra guidance. It also includes communicating with parents and sharing the children's experiences of the day.
Group Insurance and Pension plan. Vacation pay is paid out biweekly.
The Ideal Candidate Is
Enjoys caring for school age children and supporting their individual needs.
Is motivated and able to work collaboratively in a group setting, with the ability to communicate with the team.
Has at least two years experience working in a child care setting.
Must have a CCA classification from the province of Manitoba.
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable sector search, Child Abuse Registry Check, and CPR certification will be required.
Circle of Security Training an asset.
Commit to kids training and certificate required.
