Full Description

Oak Bluff Early Years (OBEY)  is looking for a full time, permanent individual that is energetic, caring, compassionate and experienced Child Care Assistant to join our infant team.   OBEY is located just outside of the southwest perimeter in Oak Bluff, MB. 

What we offer:

  • 12 sick days per year with 3 of them to be used as personal days if you wish

We are looking for a child care assistant who has/is:

  • 1-3 years of experience working within an infant program
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with good comprehension of the English language
  • Flexible to meet the needs of our program between the hours of 7:00am-5:30pm
  • Able to work independently as well as part of our team
  • Enjoy working indoors and outdoors throughout the year
  • Motivated, kind, caring, empathetic, friendly and enthusiastic 

Must have: 

  • Current first-aid and CPR certification(Level C)- or willing to obtain prior to employment 
  • CCA Classification
  • 40 hour course approved by Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care(within first 6 months of employment) 
  • Criminal Record & Child Abuse Registry Checks in good standing within the past 3 months
  • Circle of Security training an asset and/or be willing to obtain
