Position would be working with a strong team including the program Supervisors, co-workers, family, Assistant Director, circle of Security facilitator and other behavior specialists.

Variable schedule up to eight hours per day, including possible split shifts. Candidates must be available to work all shifts within centre operating hours (7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday).

$19.40 per hour with 40-hour training, or $16.00 without.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide a safe, caring and educational environment 
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with families.
• Provide additional support within the program to help co-regulate children with additional support needs
• Observe and anticipate children’s triggers and offer tools to help regulate (e.g. deep breathing techniques, fidget gadgets, offering safe places, sensory exploration, etc.)
• General daily responsibilities include diapering, assisting children in the bathroom, providing lunch and snacks, outdoor play, activities and group activities such as circle time.
