Harstone Children's Centre in Winnipeg's Vibrant West End Neighborhood is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic ECE 2 to join our team at our Clifton location. This is a split shift position 7-9/3-530 with a straight 8hr shift on in-services and holidays. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children and a strong desire to support their growth and development in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and implementing daily activities for preschool and school age children 
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
• Provide compassionate attentive care to children. 
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes learning and development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and co-workers.
• Maintain a clean, organized and stimulating environment.
• Be a supportive team member who is able to collaborate and work with other team members to achieve program goals.

Candidates must have or obtain the following:

• Child Abuse (with vulnerable sector search) and Criminal Record Check
• First Aid/CPR
• ECE 2 Diploma or ECE 2 in training
• Experience in childcare is an asset
• Proficiency in written and verbal English
• Ability to lift push and pull up to 50 pounds
• A vehicle is an asset, so you can easily move between locations if needed. But not required
