Full Description

Purple Monkey Child Care Corp. is searching for an energetic, committed Early Childcare Educator II to work at our Prairie Sunrise location in a term position. Must be available to work any shift within our operating hours of Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm. This position offers a straight shift working 9:00am-5:00pm. Shifts may vary depending on the needs of the centre. Starting wage is $22.29/hour 

We are located in Fort Richmond and offer school age care to children ages 5 -12 years old.

The Ideal Candidate Is

  • Ability to lead and guide a team of Childcare Assistants 
  • Positive team player
  • Reliable 
  • Holds an ECE II  classification in Manitoba
  • Can work in a busy work environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrates flexibility 
  • Current First aid/CPR
  • Must have criminal record checks and child abuse registry with vulnerable sector within three months or willing to obtain
  • Experience working with school age children
