Join our team as a Childcare Assistant at St. Andrews Child Care Inc.  In this role, you will support early childhood development by engaging with children and assisting our dedicated educators in creating enriching learning experiences that align with our mission to nurture young minds.
Responsibilities

• Support classroom activities and assist lead educators in implementing curriculum plans.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment for children to learn and play.
• Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that promote development.
• Assist with daily caregiving routines, including meal times, naps, and hygiene.
• Communicate effectively with parents and team members to ensure children's needs are met.
• Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere focused on early childhood education excellence.

  Qualifications

• Previous classroom experience in early childhood settings.
• Ability to work effectively with children of varying needs.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles.
• Compassionate caregiving attitude.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is an asset.
• Certification in child care or related field is preferred.
