Child Care Assistant (CCA) – Casual/Substitute

Lovin’ N Learnin’ Daycare Inc. is a non-profit childcare centre in Winnipeg, providing quality early learning experiences for children aged 2–5 years. We are seeking a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic Child Care Assistant Substitute to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Early Childhood Educators with daily activities and routines.
• Provide active supervision to ensure children's health and safety.
• Support children's learning through play and positive interactions.
• Assist with toileting, diaper changes, meals, and rest periods.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Support children with diverse needs and abilities.
• Communicate respectfully and work collaboratively with staff and families.
• Follow centre policies, procedures, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Manitoba CCA classification or eligibility to obtain classification.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children is an asset.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required. 
• Ability to adapt to different routines and work in a team environment.

• Employment Type: Casual/Substitute (On-call)
• Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba
• Hours: Flexible shifts based on centre needs, including short-notice availability.
