Full Description
MECEC Preschool, is currently hiring for multiple Term - CCA positions for 2 separate locations. The CCA will be responsible for the care of children aged 3 months to 6 years of age. The CCA will assist the ECE 's in all routines of the child's day as well as with, light housekeeping duties.
Munroe ECE Centre Inc. is looking for a candidates, with the following attributes:
-available to work Monday to Friday in varied shifts from 7 - 5:30
-experience working with children aged 3 month to 6 years.
- flexible and have a willingness to learn
- comfortable working in a diverse environment with children, staff and families.
- physically able to lift up to 20 kg and participate through all activities
- respectful in handling conflicts
-can communicate in English effectively to perform job duties
Requirements
-CCA classification
-Commit to Kids Certification
-Child Care 40 hour course
-Accessibility Training
-Circle of Security(asset)
-Current First Aid and CPR
-Clear and current Criminal and Child Abuse checks
The Ideal Candidate Is
A Child Care Assistant with prior experience working with children aged 3 months to 6 years. The ideal candidate will also have a love for working with children and is interested in furthering their education in the field.
