Term: June 29 – August 28, 2026
Hours: Full-Time, 8 hours/day (paid lunch included)
Wage: $16.05 – $19.40 per hour 

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and caring youth to assist our team in a licensed early learning and childcare setting.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements of the Canada Summer Jobs program:
• Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with the supervision and engagement of children in daily activities.
• Maintain accurate attendance records using Fastoche and classroom attendance boards.
• Support daily indoor and outdoor programming, including large-muscle activities.
• Clean and tidy classrooms and common areas as required.
• Ensure toys, games, and activity areas are safe, organized, and well-maintained.
• Follow all ELCC licensing regulations, centre policies, and safety procedures.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Site Directors.

Qualifications:
• Interest or experience working with children is an asset.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Child & Infant CPR/First Aid certification may be required.
