The Role 

We are looking for an Assistant Director who is passionate about early learning and ready to support our team in delivering high-quality care and programming every day. 

The Assistant Director supports the Executive Director in leading the centre’s programs and staff. This role combines on-floor leadership and program oversight with mentoring, curriculum support, and licensing compliance. 

As a hands-on leader, the Assistant Director models high-quality early learning practices and provides day-to-day guidance to educators. 

What You’ll Do 

●Support program planning, evaluation, and reflective practice 

●Provide mentorship, coaching, and supervision to educators 

●Ensure programs align with Manitoba’s Early Learning Curriculum Framework 

●Support compliance with licensing and health and safety standards 

●Maintain communication with families and assist with administrative reporting as needed 

●Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that promotes professional growth
