Victor Play Centre Inc. is looking for a Substitute Child Care Assistant who is passionate about working with children and helping play a role in their care, learning and growth. We are looking for someone who is flexible, reliable, and willing to work with all children in our preschool, nursery/kindergarten, and school age programs. 

The Substitute CCA  will be assisting staff and children throughout our daily program and routines, which includes outdoor play all year 'round. They will be involved in the children's play and daily activities, while contributing to providing a safe, and fun learning environment for the children.

The Ideal Candidate Is

  • Classification as Child Care Assistant in Manitoba
  • Strong interpersonal, team building, and communication skills
  • Current first-aid and CPR certification (Level C)
  • Good understanding of Manitoba Child Care Licensing Regulations and Routine Practices
  • Must be energetic, friendly and have a positive attitude
  • Must be willing to conduct a Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Search & Child Abuse Registry Check.
  • If not classified as a CCA, must complete a mandatory 40 hour course approved by Early Learning and Child Care within first year of employment
  • Flexible, Reliable and available to work any shift up to 7.75 hours as well as a split shift if needed
