Full Description
The Director provides strong, steady leadership to staff, fostering a positive, respectful, and collaborative workplace culture. They are responsible for staff supervision, scheduling, hiring, and professional development, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality Montessori programming grounded in child-led learning.
Working closely with the Board of Directors, the Director ensures that the school operates in accordance with provincial childcare regulations, licensing requirements, and the policies and values of St. Margaret’s Montessori school.
The Director maintains strong relationships with families and the broader community, ensuring clear communication and a welcoming, inclusive environment. They also oversee key administrative functions, including enrollment, budgeting support, record keeping, and maintaining compliance with Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care guidelines.
St. Margaret’s Montessori School is committed to maintaining and growing an authentic Montessori program, and the Director plays a central role in both the pedagogical vision and the day-to-day operations of the centre.

They are committed to building strong relationships—with staff, families, the Board, and the church leadership (StMM is in the basement of St Margaret’s Anglican Church)—and to sustaining and growing a vibrant Montessori program at St. Margaret’s Montessori.
