Early Childhood Educator

Winnipeg Mennonite Early Learning Centre (WMELC) is actively seeking a trained ECE to join our program. WMELC is a 32 space centre located in Winnipeg Mennonite Elementary School.  It is an inclusive program that provides nuturing care for children with different backgrounds, ethnicity and abilities.   The children in our  program are aged 2 to 5 years.  WMELC uses an emergent child inspired curriculum that is reflective of the children’s interests in the world while expanding their understanding of it. This includes activities and learning opportunities indoors and outdoors and in all curriculum areas Our program is rich in materials and experiences for children to explore.  Our program also includes a christian component and as such educators look for appropriate opportunities to integrate Christian values and biblical teachings into the interests of children.

A SIGNING BONUS OF $1,000 WILL BE AWARDED TO NEW HIRES WHO HAVE COMPLETED THEIR 3 MONTH PROBATION PERIOD .

WAGES AND BENEFITS.

• Our current wage range for ECE IIs and IIIs is $21.65 to $26.89 dependant on level and experience.

ECE II or III certificate Reliable, energetic and team player.   Experience an asset Applicants must be willing to complete both Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Checks upon hire.
