Child Care Assistant

The Tova Vickar & Family Childcare Centre is brand new private Jewish play-based centre located in Congregation Shaarey Zedek. We are looking for multiple Childcare Assistant’s (CCA’s) with a strong work ethic and organizational skills to work with our infant and preschool-aged children. With the option of full-time or part-time.

• 18 years of age or older
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Work well with a team of Early Childhood Educator and Childcare Assistants.
• Establish and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
• Ensure compliance with the government regulation.
• Be a positive role model.
• Have a clear Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector) and Child Abuse Registry Check.
• Current First Aid/CPR

Knowledge of Jewish traditions is an asset but not required, if open to learning.
