| Description | We are looking for students/adults 18+ years old who will: – be a caring CCA, with strong verbal and written communication skills – be an active participant in the children’s play and the daily program – greet families as they arrive to drop off/pick up their children – follow health directives to limit spread of any communicable illness, including cleaning and sanitizing *Start Date: Sept. 3 or ASAP Salary: $17.51/hr IF an approved 40-hr course has been completed with a grade of C/60% or higher. *if an approved 40-hr course has not yet been completed, $15.84/hr until course has been completed with a grade of C/60% or higher. |
| Eligible Candidates |
Eligible candidates must: - be able to work before and/or after school hours (ie: 07:00-09:00 or later and/or 15:30-18:00 or earlier). More hours available if interested. - be reliable and punctual - have or be willing to obtain a clear Criminal Record/Child Abuse registry check (with vulnerable sector search) - have or be willing to obtain first aid/CPR certificate - have initiative, multi-task in a busy environment, and communicate respectfully - be a caring, articulate individual who has experience working with children and families and models teamwork and follow-through. *preference given to those with child care experience |
