| Description | We are in search of an individual who is looking for experience in the child care field. Consider Sister MacNamara Daycare as your new position. Candidates will work primarily in our preschool program where we have 32 children between the ages 2-6 years. We also have 8 children between the ages of 12 weeks-2 years. Our program also supports children with additional support needs with staff funding. This job entails some light housekeeping duties (kitchen, laundry and food preparation) that is shared by all staff. Majority of the day will be spent engaging with the children, participating in indoor and outdoor play and supporting children throughout their daily routines. We have an energetic and dedicated group of staff that is looking forward to mentoring, supporting and working with you. Work schedule is Monday to Friday with an 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:00am-5:30pm. Wage will be $16.05per hour at 7 hours/day. With an unpaid lunch break. Must be 18 years or older. Previous experience in an early learning and child care program preferred but not mandatory. Criminal record check and child abuse registry check preferred but can be completed upon hiring. |
