Visit St.Amant online at www.stamant.ca 1 Full-Time temporary position available Position Summary: River Road River Road Child Care (RRCC) is looking for a fun and energetic Child Care Assistant (CCA) to join our team. The CCA is responsible for developing and implementing a play based, child centered emergent curriculum for infants to preschool age children. As a CCA you would be responsible for planning and implementing interactions, environments and experiences based on inclusion and diversity of the individual needs, interests and abilities for each child. You would be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the children according to the Manitoba Child Day Care Standards Act and the mission and values of St.Amant and River Road Child Care. Qualifications: Possess a current certification as a Child Care Assistant or be eligible for certification under the Manitoba Child Day Care Standards Act St.Amant is a bilingual organization. Proficiency in both official languages (French/English) would be considered an asset. As a condition of employment, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, Adult Abuse Registry Check, Child Abuse Registry Check and Prior Contact Check. As a Condition of Employment, new hires must complete a series of Occupational Health checks. This includes the requirement to confirm immunization or immunity of specific communicable diseases. Successful applicants will also be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to start date.
