| Description | Rainbow Day Nursery Phase 5 is looking for an ECE to join our kinder/school age team. This program has a total of 60 school age spaces and 10 kindergarten spaces with one main room and an area in school to utilize. We offer an exciting summer program with numerous field trips and entertainers. Candidates should be familiar with emergent curriculum and subscribe to a play based approach. We are looking for an individual that is positive, lots of energy and creative. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to engage and be there for the children and offer a safe place for them to express their feelings and emotions in a fun learning environment. Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently. Benefits: Employees are paid 8 hours a day with a 45 minute paid break. The centre offers pension plan and benefit package after a 3 month probation period in which the centre covers a portion of the cost; 8 personal days per year; 15 vacation days per year to start; $100.00 towards professional development each year; and Rainbow closes for 4 half days a year for professional development which goes towards your recommended 24 hours. Our location also has access to the school gym and workout facility. Circle of security training is offered throughout the year. |
