| Description | Rainbow Day Nursery Phase 5 is looking to hire a fulltime Child Care Assistant to join our Team! We are a play based program with 144 child care spaces from infant to school-age. The chosen candidate must be a positive, energetic, a caring individual that will be there to offer a safe place for the children to express their feelings in a fun learning environment. We are looking for an individual who is able to work well in a team setting as well as independently. The eligible candidate must be able to follow an emergent curriculum and the goals and philosophy of our center. Our program runs from 7:00 am to 5:45 pm Monday to Friday. You are paid 8 hours with a 45 minute paid break included within your shift. Rainbow offers 4, 1/2 days each year of professional development, towards your 24hours of MCCA’s recommended professional development each year. These are offered within your work day. Rainbow offers full time employees a pension plan and benefit package through Blue Cross after a 3 month probation period in which the centre covers a portion of the cost. |
