| Description | Rainbow Day Nursery is now looking for a Preschool ECE II to join our Program. The position is full time and will commence asap. The Program has 32 children ages 3 to 5 years old. We are a play based program with a total of 102 spaces from infant to School-age. The chosen candidate must be a positive, energetic, caring individual with strong leadership, problem solving and mentoring skills. The chosen candidate must be able to offer a safe place for the children to express their feelings and emotions in a fun learning environment. We are looking for an individual who is able to work well in a team setting and support a team of 8 staff that include Inclusion and core staff. The eligible candidate must be able to implement an emergent curriculum and follow the goals and philosophy of our center. The hours will include all shifts between 7:00 am and 5:45 pm. Our program runs from 7:00 am to 5:45 pm Monday to Friday. You are paid 8 hours with a 45 minute break included within your 8 hour shift. Rainbow offers a pension plan / benefit package after a three month probation period through Blue Cross in which the centre covers a portion of the cost. We also offer eight personal days and $100.00 per year towards professional development. Rainbow offers four professional development 1/2 days a year towards your 24 required pd days. These are offered within your work day. |
