Child Care Assistant

Prairie Sunrise Childcare is looking for a fun and energetic individual to join our wonderful team of educators. We are looking for the right individual to work  between the hours of 7:30am-5:30pm Monday – Friday. This position is 5.25  hours a day (12:00pm-5:15pm). Hours may vary according to the needs of the centre (Possible Split Shift).  8 hours will be available on Inservice days and school closures.

• Must have clear criminal record and child abuse registry check.
• Willing to obtain current first aid/cpr training.
•  40 hour course is an asset
• Experience working with school age children is an asset
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Positive behavior management skills
• Takes initiative and able to work as part of a team
• Willing to learn and take direction
