Child Care Assistant

Looking for a part time job? This position is perfect for students! Prairie Nature Children’s Centre is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic CCA to join our amazing team in our Inclusive, Nature-based School-Age program. The Educator chosen for the position will work 3:15-5:15pm Monday to Friday (plus some in-service days) with a wage of $14.50-$17.04/hr (with 40-hour course) and 4% vacation pay.

The chosen candidate must have:

• current First Aid/CPR
• clear Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector search
• Completed 40 Hour course ~within first year of employment
• CCA Certification through ELCC
• + Circle of Security, MCCA Code of Ethics, childcare experience and a love of the outdoors are great assets to have 🙂
