Eligible Candidates

Qualifications

Education
ECE II/III certification with specialization in inclusion support, children with special needs or equivalent
Education/training in human ecology, child development, applied counselling or a Family Support Worker Certificate
Must have driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Service Delivery Skills, Expertise and Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working successfully with young people/children, including those with additional support needs
Experience working with families in marginalized communities and community agencies
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with families and children from diverse groups
Comprehensive knowledge of community resources for parents, families and children

Critical Skills
Proven knowledge and ability in relationship-building, facilitation, decision-making, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

Focus on Results
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and focus work-related activities to effectively and efficiently achieve service goals and produce expected results/outcomes

Alignment with Organizational Values
