La Salle Kidz Inc.  is a multi-site organization that provides high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing and stimulating environment. We are committed to fostering children’s growth, development, and creativity in a safe and engaging atmosphere. As we expand, we are looking for an energetic, organized, and passionate Assistant Director to join our leadership team. As the Assistant Director, you will support the Executive Director in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the child care centres within La Salle. You will help manage staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain a positive environment for children, families, and staff. Your leadership will contribute to creating an exceptional early learning experience for the children in our care. Key Responsibilities: -Assist in managing daily operations of the centre, ensuring all policies and regulations are followed. -Support and lead a team of early childhood educators and staff, ensuring high standards of care and education. -Work closely with the Executive Director and Lead ECEs to implement and maintain curriculum standards and programming. -Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive community. -Monitor and ensure compliance with licensing and safety regulations. -Assist with staff scheduling, training, and professional development. -Handle administrative duties including enrollment, billing, budget tracking, and maintaining accurate records. -Step in to lead the centre in the Executive Director’s absence, ensuring smooth and effective operations.

Eligible Candidates

Qualifications: -Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education -Minimum of five years of experience in early childhood education, preferably in a leadership or administrative role. -Strong understanding of child development and early learning best practices. -Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. -Experience with the administrative/financial operations of a not-for-profit child care centre -Ability to manage and mentor staff with a positive and proactive approach. -Knowledge of provincial licensing regulations -CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
