Child Care Assistant

Inkster Community Child Care is looking for three CCA’s to join our preschool and school-age team at our Centre located within Inkster School.  A successful candidate for this position would be passionate about building a caring community, welcoming diversity, inquiry and exploration, and have a passion for working with children and want to be part of a close-knit group of staff and families.   We foster respectful and nurturing relationships with the child’s development in mind. We are looking for reflective, dynamic individuals who are open to new challenges.

Applicants must have: - CCA classification with 40-hour training completed) the Province of Manitoba with two or more years of experience - Current First Aid with Level C CPR Certificate - Will need to provide a clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Persons and Child Abuse Registry Check. Applicants must have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of child development, and the ability to be a great team member.
