Are you passionate about working with infants and shaping their future? Look no further! Harstone Children’s Centre, a dynamic and fast-growing organization with 6 locations, is seeking a dedicated childcare assistant to work at our 948 Sargent location. The ideal candidate will be flexible and dependable,  have excellent teamwork skills, strong initiative and a genuine love for working with infants and toddlers.

The Position will be 2 days a week from 745-445 to cover a student attending the Early Childhood Education workplace program. More hours available for an ideal candidate.  

Requirements:
- Clear current Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check
- CCA Classification
- First aid/CPR training level C
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as an integral part of a team
- Reliable and dedicated
- Ability to work within the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. daily
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling.  

Position Start Date: January 2nd, 2024. Earlier start dates available.
