| Description | Dugald Daycare is seeking a childcare assistant on a full time basis for our 795 Jaffray street location. This is a 74 space program with infant and preschool children. Shifts are 8 hours with 1 hour lunch (1/2 lunch paid for) for a 7.5 hour day. Benefits, EAP, pension plan, 1 annual PD day in a great team environment. Shift would be 9:30-5:30. All staff start at later shifts as we value seniority with our organization. As earlier shifts become available we re-evaluate what we can accommodate. We are located 10 minutes East of Winnipeg (outside of Transcona). Public transportation not available so a car is a must. We are in a rural community. Candidates must be comfortable with highway driving in winter conditions. We have a social committee and a few other committees to keep our staff all very involved and have a voice and encourage active participation. Pay is dependent on qualifications. Candidates who have their 40 hour course or equivalent would start at $17.51 Position would commence in January. |

Childcare Assistant preferably with experience and 40 hour course. Current First Aid/CPR, child abuse check and criminal check. Preference given to those who live locally in our community Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude are key qualities we are searching for as a CCA. Great communication with co-workers and parents is very important. |
