Canterbury Park Daycare Before & After Program is looking for a fun, energetic Child Care Assistant to join our team.
Job Position: Child Care Assistant
Location: Before & After School Program in Wayoata Elementary School
Monday to Friday
Permanent Full-time position.
Start Date: April 10, 2023

| Eligible Candidates |
-Ability to interact positively with children, families, staff & community members.
-To enforce and adhere to the "Community Child Day Care Standards Act" and Provincial Regulations.
-To consistently supervise, plan and implement a variety of experiences for children.
-Optimistic outlook and upbeat personality
-Positive behavior management and leadership skills
-Ability to use positive guidance techniques
-Dedicated and energetic team player
-Professional and responsible
-Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programming.
-Ensure policy procedures and program needs are carried out.
-Punctual, flexible & reliable
-Ability to plan and implement special events and outing.
-Self-criminal record check and child abuse registry check an asset
-Current First Aid and CPR Certificate an asset
Willingness to complete & obtain 40-hour course requirement
-Experience with school age children will be considered an asset/willing to train
