Early Childhood Educator

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in a classroom setting
• Provide care to children while nurturing their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Create a safe and stimulating environment that supports learning and exploration
• Collaborate with other educators and parents to ensure the well-being of each child
• Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements:

• Must hold a ECE II certification valid in Manitoba or Montessori Training
• Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Ability to educate and engage young children effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues

We are a new private Montessori Academy seeking a dedicated ECE II (Early Childhood Educator Level II) or Montessori Teacher to join our team. As an ECE II or Montessori Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care and education to young children.

*Only those with a ECE II certification valid in Manitoba or Montessori Training will be considered for this position. *

Knowledge of the Montessori Method is an asset but not required. Montessori training can be provided.
