| Description | Aleph-Bet Child Life Enrichment Program is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated ECE II or III to work in our preschool and school age programs. This position requires flexibility and adaptability. The candidate will be responsible for caring and implementing developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor experiences for children 2-12 years old, communicating with families, light housekeeping duties and more. This is a full-time position and offers a competitive wage and benefits package. |

-will have a genuine love for children and teaching -will have an ECE II or III certification -will have a current First Aid/CPR Level C certificate or willing to immediately obtain -will have a clear criminal record check with a vulnerable sector search-dated within the last three months or willing to immediately obtain -will have a clear child abuse registry check dated within the last three months or willing to immediately obtain -must be energetic, well organized, and self-motivated -must be able to make decisions and follow through -will have the ability to work as part of a team and individually -will be available to work between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:30 pm and be punctual and reliable -will have knowledge and understanding of child development with the ability to create/implement a program that is child centered -must be able to provide age appropriate experiences for children age 2-12 that work towards specific goals and objectives -must have the ability and flexibility to work with all children age 2 to 12. -must adapt well to change and potential site/room changes. -must have strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with a variety of individuals and children (colleagues, families, therapists, and other professionals) -must be able to role model all rules and policies including code of conduct -must be able to problem solve and effectively manage conflict -must be experienced with different documentation techniques -able to change diapers and follow universal precautions -able to adapt to sudden changes -will be flexible and able to take initiative -able to lift weights between 20-50 lbs |
